Privacy Policy

NextArc (nextarc.tv) tracks anime release schedules. You can use almost all of it without an account. This page explains what we collect when you sign in or submit the notify form, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Google or Discord, the provider shares your name, email address, and avatar with us. We never see or store your password.
- Your watchlist. The shows you save, so they are there when you come back.
- Notification details. When you submit the notify form, we collect your email address, the show or season it was entered for, and when you submitted it. We use this solely to send the one promised announcement email.
Members can turn on a weekly list email in their profile; its send log stores the show ID, announced value, and the time a run claimed it as an emailed-or-attempted record, not a delivery receipt, plus one digest-day row per weekly email recording the UTC day it was claimed or attempted, also not a delivery receipt, and nothing else. - Usage counts. Anonymous, aggregated page-view counts that tell us which pages are used. They are not tied to your account and we build no visitor profiles. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking on the site.
Cookies
The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in. No ad cookies, no tracking cookies.
Where your data lives
Account and watchlist data is stored in our database, hosted by Neon, and the site runs on Vercel. Both are located in the United States.
Services we rely on
- Google and Discord handle sign-in. They only learn about your NextArc sign-in when you choose to use them for it.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides the anonymous page-view analytics.
- Neon hosts our database.
- Resend delivers notification email. We share the address with Resend at send time, and Resend is hosted in the United States.
- AniList is where the show data (titles, artwork, air dates) comes from. We request public show data from AniList to power release tracking, your watchlist, and list previews.
- List import. When you use the import box, the username you type is forwarded to AniList or MyAnimeList to fetch that public list. It is used only for that request and never stored.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or send you marketing email.
Your choices
- You can sign out at any time, and add or remove watchlist shows freely.
- The unsubscribe link in every notification email deletes the address from the notification list. We retain no notification address after unsubscribe.
- To delete your account and everything attached to it, email privacy@nextarc.tv and we will remove it. Self-serve deletion is planned.
- You can also request notification-address deletion by emailing privacy@nextarc.tv.
Children
NextArc is not directed at children under 13. Please do not create an account if you are under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
